How do I cancel my booking?

It’s easy to cancel your booking. Head to your profile, find your booking in the list, and click on the icon to the right, next to the booking dates. From there, you can cancel your booking, download your receipt and more. Your booking will be canceled according to the cancelation policy, which is included in your booking confirmation

Can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your room if you booked a refundable room. If you booked a non-refundable room, it’s unlikely you will be able to cancel free of charge. Cancellations and prepayment policies can vary according to hotel and the terms are displayed on each individual result page. Please be sure to check which type you are booking in order to avoid any frustration later

When will I be charged?

You can usually choose between paying online or paying at the hotel. If you choose to pay online, you pay the full amount immediately. If you choose to pay at the hotel and the rate is refundable, you will be charged when you check-in or check-out (depending on the hotel). If you choose to pay at the hotel and the rate is not refundable, you will be charged approximately three days after you make the booking. The payment option is always displayed on each individual result page

Does my donation expire?

Your ability to choose which charity receives your donation expires after two years. Once that deadline has passed, your donation is equally divided between our charities. This way we are able to guarantee that your donation is always given to a charitable cause.

You don’t have to make a donation every time you book: you can choose to collect each donation and make a larger contribution whenever you want within the two years

Where can I see how much I can donate?

The donation amount is ranked using hearts, from 1 to 5 - the more hearts the higher the donation. You can see the hearts displayed on each hotel result. Once you reserve the room you can see the potential donation in the bottom right corner. You can see the amount of the donation before you go to payment

How much can I donate?

Your donation is always a minimum of one third of our commission. The final amount depends on the price of your stay. You can see how much your booking can contribute by hovering over the small hearts on the results page

Are hotels more expensive on Goodwings?

No. Our booking system has the exact same prices as other hotel booking websites and our prices are updated several times a day. We also offer a number of pricing plans for our corporate clients which can mean some big savings on hotels. You can read more about Goodwings for business here

Which hotels can I find on Goodwings?

Do you have any membership plans?

When can I donate?

Once you have paid for and completed your booking, you will be presented with a booking confirmation screen. On this screen you can see how much you can donate, and choose which charity you donate to. You don’t have to donate immediately if you would rather save up your donations to make a larger, single contribution in the future. It’s up to you

What happens to my donation if I cancel my booking?

The donation is not made until the stay is completed, which means that if you cancel your reservation (a refundable room) the donation will not be made

What about my bonus points collected from other hotels?

Unfortunately you cannot use your bonus points from hotels on Goodwings as each hotel has an individual bonus points policy. You might be able to register your bonus points when checking in at the hotel by showing your member card

Can I make changes to my booking?

It is possible to make minor changes, such as your name and phone number, free of charge by calling our 24-hour customer service on +45 60 73 74 75 (Denmark), or +1 917 905 6546 (rest of world).
